We met up with Laura (simply.scraps) and her two boys yesterday at Perry Farm. We didn't get to go outside, obviously, but we had TONS of fun at the 'kids museum' and then at McDonalds for a very elegant dinner.
As soon as Emma came home from school, I loaded the girlies up into the car. We made the trek over to Kankakee and I was sooo happy the kids got along. I had no worries about meeting Laura, I knew we'd get along, it was the kids I worried about. We stayed at the 'kids museum' for about an hour and a half. It was really cute. They had a bunch of different exhibits and you couldn't beat the price. It's donations only on Tuesday and Thursdays! I have a feeling we'll be going back. Perhaps even next week when Emma's out of school W, R, and F. Anyway, I digress. They had a ton of cute exhibits. A water table, this HUGE bunny, a castle, some cars, a little 50's diner, and a really cute little arts area. After we left there we went to McDonalds so the kids could eat and play at the playland there. It was SO nice to talk to someone who actually "gets" me. I have friends IRL but they don't always get the whole digi thing and they sure don't get what it's like to scrap.
Isn't she cute?
Anywho, my pic for yesterday is love. true love. I knew Emma and RJ would love each other, and I wasn't wrong. Well, Emma loved him anyway :p
That's all from me right now. We're going over to visit my momma this AM. She's doing much better but since she's home, we need to invade her space!
Until next time...
