Sleepy Saturday

Madelyn decided she was up and rarin' to go at 445 this morning so pardon my, um, sleepiness :p

Today it's supposed to be 40 out...if there wasn't mud everywhere I'd ship the kids outside. I'm just not up for the mess! We're headed out to my mom's in a bit for breakfast. Emma loves Grandma's scrambled eggs so off we'll go.

Today's pic is my current obsession. I'm almost done with the Sookie Stackhouse series and I'm in desperate need of something new to read, especially while we're gone on the cruise. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Until next time...

I love all of these books, I can't wait for the next one to come out in May.

I hate how the show is so much different than the books. Eric is so hot!

I'm sleepy too, I've had insomnia this week. Supposed to be nice here, too...54 but of course sandwiched between days of rain on either side so muddy...I'm thinking we're going out anyway though! Have a great weekend! :)

Sookie books rule!! I can give you lots and lots of recommendations! What type of genre are you interested in? I think you should read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. Seriously, SO GOOD.

Have you read any of Jodi Piccoults books? I love Nineteen Minutes. Probably my favorite. Also My Sister's keeper is really good. I also love The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.

Like I said, I threw it across the room when I was done with it ;)

Have you read any other Charlaine Harris books? The "Grave Sight" ones were pretty good.... there's only 2 so far though.

no recommendations here..I am glad the books are different than the series. My friend is reading them and if they were the same she would ruin the show for me. Have fun on your cruise.

I have been contemplating picking up those books. I may have to now just to see what the hype is about.
