Bad, Bad blogger

wow. I haven't posted anything in 4 days! What's up with that?!

Well, tomorrow is Madelyn's big tubes surgery. I'm getting kind of worried about it. I mean, I know she'll do great and things will be TONS better afterwards but I'm worried about how I'll do more than her! The stupid surgery center called me this afternoon and changed her surgery time from 7:30 AM to 10 AM. Now, if you've seen my daughter (ever) she's not one to skip a meal. Ever. Girl weighs 27 lbs...she obviously eats quite a bit. Well, she can have nothing to eat or drink after midnight (she can have clear liquids up until 5 AM, but um, I'm not waking her up to take a drink....she'd NEVER go back to sleep). This child not getting her cup of milk in the morning is going to be a nightmare. My only hope is that she'll sleep until about 8 or 8:30. She's going to be soooo not happy. The original time they had given me was going to suck because I would have to leave at 5:30 but um, that would be a heck of a lot better than making her wait until afternoon to get some food...my poor baby girl. Anyway, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

We had a pretty decent weekend. Friday I took Madelyn to her pre-surgery physical. She weighed in at 26 lbs 12 oz and 31 inches tall. Can we say "mooo?" After that I went grocery shopping (I had left Emma home with D since he got rained out). It was kind of nice to only have one kid with me. Then I went to see Nae and baby Mckena. OMG. This kid is seriously SO cute. She's such a little peanut and she's got more hair than Madelyn does now. This little upturned nose. SO cute. Still doesn't make me want another! LOL

Saturday was date "night" for us. We went and saw "Angels & Demons" and I absolutely LOVED it. Granted, I haven't read the book but wow. It was gooooood. I went and brought back the shirts I had gotten for Mother's Day because they were too big (GO ME) and the capri's just looked funny. I got back $56 and spent $69. Pretty close I think. I got a SUPER cute hoodie. It's gray and pink. I think I'm going to wear it all the time

Cute, huh? I also got two shirts and a pair of khaki pants that button up into capris. I have a feeling this whole shopping thing has the potential to get way out of hand.

Yesterday was just a lazy day for us. We went out for breakfast in the morning. That was nice because we don't do that often. Then we went to Menards to get a few things and some more flowers. Home so the girls could nap and then we cooked out with Matt, Erik, Emily and the kids. It was a nice night.

I've got a couple CT things for ya. Brandy, Amy and Abish all made it to round 3 of SYTYCD so I want to pass along the linkies for their kits to you. Remember, if you download the kits, leave them a lil' love. Part of the judging has to do with how well they advertise. ALSO, if you use the kit...don't be afraid to upload it to the DSA gallery...that's part of the judging too! Plus, Brandy's giving away the chance to win a $10 GC to her store at ES if you post with her kit....who doesn't love free money?

Here's Amy's gorgeousness and a LO I did with it:

and here's Brandy's...I just love the colors in this one:

Have I mentioned how incredibly blessed I am to work with the designers I work with? They seriously all rock my socks off!

Other than that, I got nothing. Until next time...
