TGIF

Here we are again...I can't believe it's Friday already! This week has gone by SOO fast. I've been busy doing lots of scrapping, playing outside with the girlies, getting house work done, and just plain ol' running around. I can't believe that Madelyn is going to be one in just 2 weeks!!! I really need to step up my game and get going on her birthday party.

Today is kind of a fun day for Emma. The aide in her class room is pregnant and they're having a baby shower for her today. Emma is totally excited about the whole thing, even though I'm not really sure she knows what a "shower" is. She does keep telling me that Mrs. Berta has a baby in her belly so I know she understands that much of it...I'm just not sure she knows that a shower is a party. Mrs. Best asked me if I could bring in a fruit or veggie so I'll be taking Emma to school to drop off the apples and caramel dip. It was such a hit last time I brought it, I figured, why not bring it again.

I really need to get on the ball and call my OB/GYN. I've had this pain in my left side down by where my ovaries are for about 2 or 3 weeks now. I think it could be a cyst because it bothers me more when we have sex. Some days it hurts a lot, other days it doesn't bother me at all. One of our friends actually just found out yesterday that she has a mass on her ovaries and has to have a biopsy done. So, as you can imagine, Darik is really pushing me to go to the dr.

Tomorrow we're going out for dinner with the guys that Darik guided with this winter. It'll be my first dinner out with friends since my surgery...and I'm totally expecting tons of questions. I'm sure I'll get annoyed by it too. I don't know any of the other women going so it ought to be interesting. My mom and I are going to take the girls to Kohl's tomorrow so we can get Madelyn a birthday/Easter dress and Emma an Easter dress. I also need to at least pick up a pair of khaki's for myself. I have no "nice" clothes. Lots of tops but no pants.

Anywho, I need to get scooting and get Emma some lunch. Until next time...
