I've just had it

Wow, it's been almost a week since I last blogged! It's just been one of those weeks. Madelyn is on a sleeping strike again, Darik went for the ol' snip, snip on Thursday, yesterday we went to visit Lauren in Peoria, and it's just been busy since Emma didn't have school Thursday or Friday.

I'm honestly about at my wit's end. I've had about 12 hours of sleep in the past 3 days and there's no sight of it getting any better any time in the near future. I don't know what Madelyn's problem is. She is over her cold, she doesn't appear to be getting any new teeth, she's not pulling on her ear, she's not overly crabby....I don't know why she's not sleeping. What I do know is that if I don't get some sleep soon, I'm going to break. Literally. I'm so tired I can't see straight. Wednesday and Thursday she at least slept for about 3 hours at a time and I got some sleep but last night she was literally up every hour. I sat and cried with her at one point.

Darik definitely isn't helping matters any. Yes, he went and had a vasectomy, yes, I realize that it's surgery, but ya know what he's doing right now? He's laying on the couch sleeping...it's noon. He slept for 1o hours last night...Do you know how bad I want to punch him in his muther trucking head right now? Seriously?

Emma's Valentine's Day party went well. All the kids really loved the "heart people." She was so glad I was at school with her that day. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. LOL Her parent/teacher confrences were that night also. Mrs. Best had just called a confrence to tell us that Emma has improved dramatically. Which was totally refreshing to hear. She's having listening problems at school as well as at home so we'll be working on that some more at home.

Yesterday we went and visited Lauren, Ryanne, and Liam. It was a busy, hectic day but the girls had so much fun. Madelyn was a little rough with Liam but she was really good the whole time we were there.

That's about it....I'm just too freaking tired to even write anymore because I can't concentrate.
