The middle of the week...

I don't know why it matters, it really doesn't I guess.  BUT, today is Wednesday and Emma is SUPER stoked because they get to play outside today at school.  It's been sooo cold here that they haven't got to play outside for recess.  She's reminded me about 30 times (and it's only 830) that she has to bring a bag with her snow pants, snow boots, and hat and gloves for school today.  My little Worry Wart.

Darik took the day off today from the hunt club so I have him running errands for me.  Such a good wife!  I hate having to go to WalMart with two kids in tow and since he was going to be by there, I just made my list for him and sent him a-gettin'.

I think we've nipped the whole sleep thing in the bud around here.  Emma's been sleeping through the night (minus if she has to go potty or has a bad dream, but that's to be expected) and even Madelyn is sleeping from about 8-4 or 5.  I'm a muuuch happier person now!  It's amazing what a little sleep does for ya!

Madelyn has some mad skillz when it comes to flexibility.  I know all kids do but she seriously hurts me sometimes with the stuff she does.  Anyway, today's pic is just that.

that's it for today.  Until next time...

I find kids can be VERY flexible when they are trying to take their socks off with their teeth or squeeze behind something they shouldn't be behind :P

Yay for not running your own errands :P

That's so funny Laura - They won't let the kids play outside here either, but its like 39! Love the little gymnast! I wish I was that flexible again!!

I thought that's what husbands were for? Am I doing it wrong?

I don't think I could send my hubby to Walmart on his own. Even with a list - he would end up getting lots of stuff that we didn't need!
