It always comes back to me, I swear. I've never been a real involved mom. Not because I don't want to...I love my kids more than anything in the world...I'm just not that type of person. For so long I was SO overweight that I physically couldn't do it, and then, well, there's the fact that I'm just not a creative person. I mean, yes, I am creative in the fact that I love to do scrapbooking and take photos and even play music. I am not creative however with glue and scissors and glitter. It's just not how I work. I don't like the mess. I don't like not being in control. BUT, I made a promise to myself that I would be more involved now that I'm physically able to. Thus...today we made a trip to Jump Up in Channahon. It's about 20 minutes away and the kids get to play on the inflatables for an hour and a half for $7. How could any sane person pass that up? We had a ton of fun. Seriously. I even played with them!
Anyway, my photo for today was one that I could have NEVER taken last year...
She had so much fun today. Emma did too but Emma was more of a given. Madelyn was very hesitant last time but this time she just had a BLAST.
